Bed Pillow Sizes and Choices

Bed pillows come in many sizes.  The sizes we most often use and see are Regular (20x26"), Standard (20x28"), Queen (20x30"), King (20x36"), European (aka Euro 26x26" or 27x27) and Grand Euro (31x31") sizes.  There are quite a few additional sizes in addition.  We typically recommend the Standard or Queen size pillow to use as a sleeping pillow, pillows larger than this are great to use as decorative shams or pillows to lean against in bed.

2 Standard or Queen pillows will usually cover the width of a Queen bed, while on a King Bed you would typically want 3 Standard pillows or two King pillows.  For Euro pillows we typically need 2 for a Queen bed or 3 for a King Bed.

As far as what type of fill to choose for your sleep pillow, we typically recommend high quality down filled pillows.  For a pillow that will be used for support in bed, a down feather blend pillow will usually be best.  These types of pillows are firmer and more supportive, but also heavier the larger the percentage of feathers in the blend.
